Audi have always manufactured quality cars and the A3 is no exception, built to the standards you would expect from Audi the A3 was a totally new concept when it was released, a small luxury car, although other manufacturers soon jumped on the same bandwagon, but you have to go a long way to beat the A3.

Underneath the bodywork the A3 has a great deal in common with the VW golf, but it's not just an upper class Golf, Audi's superb build quality shines through and the residual values of the A3 are extremely strong.

The 2006 A3 has had quite a few tweaks over its predecessor including suspension and steering enhancements, new alloy wheel choices and the addition of the S line sports styling option. A choice of seven engines, three transmissions and three trim levels mean there's bound to be an A3 to suit your exact requirements.

Add to some of the engines the exceptional Audi DSG gearbox and Quattro four-wheel drive and you really do have a sporty hot hatch with the luxury and refinement that only Audi could provide.
