Audi S3 Review
Audi have taken the term "Hot Hatch" to an all new level with the launch of the new S3, 265 bhp and a top speed of 155 mph will ensure Audi stay ahead of the chasing pack and with a time of 5.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 - 62 mph it may be difficult for the competitors to keep up.
Powering the new Audi S3 is an all-new turbocharged, inline four cylinder, two litre engine, a surprise to many who expected the 3.2 V6 to be the engine of choice for the new S3. Power is transmitted via a six speed manual gearbox and Quattro permanent four wheel drive ensures you stick to the tarmac like chewing gum, add to this larger 18 " alloys, front and rear spoilers and Oval S style exhausts and the New Audi S3 not only goes like stink, it looks the part as well.
The interior of the new Audi S3 will not disappoint either, pedals, air vents and gear knob are all in an aluminium look finish and the S3 logo appears in all the right places just to set it apart from its A3 sibling. There is a choice of three upholstery combinations, cloth and leather or, as an option, Alcantara/leather or finally completely in leather. The two-tone leather seats are coordinated with stitching in the same colour as their centre section, giving an understated look that appears across the whole of the Audi S range.
Like the looks of the new Audi S3, why not check out the BMW 1 Series, the Seat Ibiza Cupra or the VW Golf R32.
