2008 Chrysler Grand Voyager ReviewWinner of the 2006 What Car? large MPV award the Chrysler Grand Voyager is one big people mover and with the extremely clever Stow and Go seating can be converted into something approaching a removal van in around 30 seconds. Chrysler obviously thought long and hard when coming up with their unique seating system for the Grand Voyager, using just one hand the second and third rows of seats can be folded flat into compartments in the floor and you don't even need to remove the headrests. Once the seating is stowed the Chrysler Grand Voyager has a totally flat floor and a huge 4690 litres of storage space. The Chrysler Grand Voyager is available with a choice of either a 3.3 litre petrol engine or a 2.8 litre diesel unit. Starting with the Chrysler Grand Voyager 3.3 petrol, this engine pushes out 172 bhp through its four speed automatic transmission and achieves a top speed of 111 mph. The Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD again uses a four speed automatic box to transmit its 150 bhp resulting in a maximum speed of 112 mph. Standard Specification on the Chrysler Grand Voyager is very good with 16" alloy wheels, 3-row side-curtain airbags, driver and front-passenger air bags, 7 seats with the middle row and 60/40 split rear bench seat incorporating Stow 'n Go, anti lock braking system - 4 wheel disc antilock, central locking with remote operation, cruise control, dual zone climate control with odour and particulate air filter, electric rear quarter vents, electric windows (one-touch-down for driver's window), electronically operated and heated door mirrors, front fog lamps, headlamp levelling system, leather wrapped steering wheel, overhead console with trip computer and vehicle information centre, 8-way power adjustable driver's seat, power steering, rear fog lamps, remote control Thatcham Category 1 alarm and immobiliser, roof rails and bars, single CD/radio with RDS/EON with ten premium infinity speakers, sliding side doors with child safety locks and steering wheel-mounted audio controls fitted on all models.
