2008 New Peugeot 4007 Review
PSA Peugeot Citroen have made a move into the SUV market with the launch of the 4007 by Peugeot and the C-Crosser by Citroen, although both share the underpinnings with the Mitsubishi Outlander, individual styling for the 4007 has been acheived via Peugeot's design centre, based at Vélizy in France.
Power is supplied by a common rail direct injection turbodiesel that gives you 156 bhp and 380Nm of torque, and it is biodiesel ready, Up to a 30% mixture of Biodiesel fuel can be used without any further modification to the engine. As standard, it is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and the 4007 has four-wheel drive.
Marketed more as a soft roader than an off roader, the new Peugeot 4007 is the first of a new generation of SUV's designed to be kinder to the enviroment, whilst retaining the styling and performance that is loved by so many.
