The Citroen Xsara Picasso is the all round car, handling like a saloon, yet with the ability to carry passengers in the style of an MPV and luggage like an estate, is their no task this car wasn't designed for.
With many features as standard, including ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Energy absorbing side impact protection, Driver's, front passenger's and front lateral airbags and High tensile steel side protection bars it's little wonder the Citroen Xsara Picasso scores a highly respectable four stars in its Euro ncap rating.
The Xsara Picasso is available with both petrol and diesel power plants, two petrol, a 1.6 and 2.0 litre and a highly impressive 1.6 Hdi diesel that develops 110 hp with excellent fuel consumption figures and low emissions to match. An overboost system incorporated into the management system of the engine allows for an additional pulse of torque over a short period of time, when necessary, to allow you to overtake, or for emergencies that may arise whilst driving.
